Purchase process
Visit by appointment or schedule a live video call. See the puppy, our adult dogs, and the Riverside environment.
We discuss sex, age, temperament, household routines, and registration needs so the match is based on fit.
The deposit is collected only after selection and is applied to the total price. The remaining balance is due at pickup or arranged handoff.
We coordinate records, contract documents, transportation, food continuity, and the puppy’s transition plan.
Choosing the right stage
Riverside does not discount a puppy simply because it is older. Every puppy continues receiving care, training, handling, and socialization while waiting for the right family.
A younger puppy gives your family more time with the smallest stage: carrying them, establishing your own household rhythm, and guiding more of their earliest transitions.
An older Riverside puppy is not a lesser puppy. Additional time with us means continued care and more repetition of the skills that can make the transition into a family easier.
Health and veterinary oversight
Riverside puppies follow an age-appropriate vaccination and deworming schedule managed with trained veterinary support. Families receive the puppy’s available health records and are encouraged to establish care with their veterinarian promptly after homecoming.
Breeding decisions
Riverside uses breeder-focused DNA information to review breed-relevant health risks, genetic coefficient of inbreeding, diversity, and inherited traits. Embark currently describes its breeder test as screening 270+ genetic health conditions.

Our goal is a sound family companion with a stable temperament and the best practical opportunity for a long, healthy life. We do not select primarily for show-ring appearance or a narrow visual interpretation of the breed standard.

Planning your puppy’s homecoming
Yes. Riverside welcomes scheduled visits in the Denton area by appointment. Visits are arranged directly so the kennel address is not published as a walk-in location.
We can arrange a live FaceTime or comparable video call so you can see the puppy, the adult dogs, and the Riverside environment before making a deposit.
After you select a puppy and are comfortable moving forward, a $500 deposit reserves that puppy and is applied to the purchase price. The remaining balance is due at pickup or before an arranged shipment or delivery handoff.
Families may arrange pickup in the Denton area or a coordinated DFW or DAL airport handoff. Other air or ground transportation may be arranged case by case and quoted for the specific route and plan.
